Autumn Breeze...
Yes, as weather and leaves turn,
And the chill comes into the air
As we bring in the harvest of our days
Sorting the chaff into the air
We draw the sap into the ground
And discard the summer ways
Raking up the clutter of our youth
And the Summer King’s plays
Sleeping stillness, a silent nod
To our deeper inner self
Preparing plans for the New Year
And the chill comes into the air
As we bring in the harvest of our days
Sorting the chaff into the air
We draw the sap into the ground
And discard the summer ways
Raking up the clutter of our youth
And the Summer King’s plays
Sleeping stillness, a silent nod
To our deeper inner self
Preparing plans for the New Year
And storing herbs upon the shelf
